Organisation of the School Day

| 8.30 am – 9 am | • Early bird club • There will be a small cost this (unless the pupil has pupil premium) |
| 8.45 am – 9.00am | • Parents can drop pupils off at school any time between this point • A pupil arriving later than 9 am is marked as late • A pupil arriving after 9.15 will be classed as unauthorised as registers will have closed. • Pupils will be taken off of buses during this time by SLT. • TAs will decide to either supervise them in class or on the playground. TAs are the supervisors during this time, not teachers. |
| 9am – 10.15 am | • Lesson 1 and breakfast |
| 10.15– 10.45 am | • Break times and snack times are organised during this period. Each class will need to organise their breaks. • Teachers and TAs can take a quick break at a safe time; take five minutes to grab a drink and use the facilities |
| 10.45 am – 12.15 pm | • Lesson 2 as per the timetable |
| 12.15 -12.55 pm 12.55pm-1.35pm (two lunch sessions) | • Lunchtime • Teachers will have 40 minutes break • TAs will have 40 minute break • Lunch for pupils will be either in class or in the dining room according to the needs of the class • Targets need to be set for pupils to work on during lunchtimes • Pupil have 40 minutes to eat and 40 minutes play |
| 1.35– 3 pm | • Lesson 3 as per the timetable |
| 3 pm – 3.15 pm | • Teachers do a daily bus duty unless on PPA • TAs are also supervising • SLT call for pupils via the walkie-talkies • Buses called over this period and go gradually over this time to stop a big pile up |
| TUESDAYS 2-2.20pm | • Pupil leave earlier this day. |
